Race players often lose sight of the prime goal - even though it is most obvious, right there in front of them, and relatively easy to attain:

The 'sly' player knows . . . all that is needed is to establish a small edge on the game, and wager in a way that best takes advantage of that edge.

Announcing -
 The HRG Index Group

We are bringing back the HRG Index - but in a very different format.

 

• The new HRG Index will be issued for only Fri./Sat./Sun. of each week, and in addition - any holiday Mondays that come up.
   
• The races issued will be select - and relatively few (5 to 8 per day)
   
• There will be three horses given per race.
   
• We will suggest how to wager on these, and the Index will have a betting line (minimum acceptable odds) for each race.

• Number of subscribers in the group will be limited to only 12 on any given weekend. We'd like to have more, of course, but we need to take care of the pools, and not be shooting ourselves in the foot, and lowering the final odds on everyone's wagers.
   
• We are going to be issuing only higher level races at the top tracks, so the average total wager amount of the group shouldn't affect the odds on most of these races.

• We will charge $35 per three-day weekend to be a part of the HRG Index Group, and receive the three days of the Index select picks each weekend.
   
• You can order anytime . . . but you will need to advise us before Thursday night (9:00 p.m. EDT) each week if you do not wish to receive the HRG Index for that following weekend.

We will assume you'll be wagering 'live' via computer, or at at the track or satellite center; however . . . the suggested Index wagers will be such that - if you are wagering only win, and have an account at Twin Spires - you could wager in advance by setting minimum acceptable odds in the "conditional wagering" mode.
